Easter

Hippy Hoppety Easter came the other day!

We started the morning following the egg trail that the Easter Bunny left around our house. Since Anna Grace was up before the sun, we don't have any early morning pictures but I wish you all could have seen the pure joy/excitement/astonishment on her face! It was priceless! After finding all of the eggs, seeing the wonderful treats and emptying her basket we headed to church to celebrate the day.

Next, we went to Sugie and Granddad's for a wonderful shrimp boil that Uncle Paul made. After lunch and a quick nap we visited CeCe and Pops for some of Pops' famous meatballs. It was a wonderful day filled with lots of family, great food and joy!

On the Cob

How do you know it's getting close to summer? Corn on the cob!  Anna Grace has been thoroughly enjoying the lovely weather we have had the last few weeks and now the great fruits and veggies that are coming into season. Corn is one of her favorites, and while I am a little less of a worrier, Anna Grace's Daddy wasn't a fan of her using the standard cob holders and my little neat nick was not a fan of getting her hands dirty. In comes the greatest kitchen utensil yet...

I happened to stumble upon these little babies at TJMaxx, but now that I know how wonderful they are I would have paid full price! Anna Grace gets to keep her little hands clean and Daddy doesn't have to stress about the sharp pokers being yanked out and used as weapons.

Yes, she ate the whole ear by herself. Enjoy!

First of Many...

They Match!

If it were up to me, my whole family would match every day of the week.  Lucky for Aaron, our clothing budget isn't quite big enough for everyday but there will be as many as I can! (At least for the girls.)

Family Fun Day

Our local bank had a Family Fun Day. We stopped by after a trip to Wendy's to check out the high school band, petting zoo and free ice cream from the Ice Cream Truck!

Celebrating the Goebels!

We had a little backyard party since the Goebels were in town.

No, that's not their baby... but they are expecting! Baby Hayden will be here before we know it!

Lately...

We are all doing well and adjusting to life as a family of four. Adalyn is wonderfully easy. She is sleeping better than Anna Grace slept at a year old and is even starting to get a few chubby creases! Things have been pretty low key, and we've had lots of P.J. time so photo ops have been limited. Here are a few from the last three weeks.
