Rollin'

She's mobile! Adalyn rolled over last week for the first time! She can roll from her back to front and front to back! Please excuse the nudity as we were mid outfit change, but aren't those arm rolls cute?!

Adalyn's Newborn Photo Shoot

Here are some of my favorite pictures from Adalyn's newborn photo shoot with Erin Mueller from Brooke Shelby Photography. They all turned out great!

Mother's Day Gifts

I know I'm a bit behind on this...but it was Mother's Day=Mom gets to do what she wants=No blogging, and more sleep :)

I got my very first homemade gift! It is a precious coaster with Anna Grace's fingers as the flower petals and bugs.

I also got a magical little rose that just so happened to make doing the dishes a little more enjoyable. I could use one of those magical roses a bit more often.

I don't have any actual pictures from Mother's Day since Aaron and I went away for the night to Lake Texoma to celebrate our 3 yr anniversary. I'm fairly new at this mom thing and forgot all about my own day when I made the plans and about my Mom's Mother's Day when I left her with my children! Thanks Mom!

Nursing

Well, there hasn't been much to blog about since all we seem to do is nurse. And I mean all of us. Even Kiki. He has his own Boppy and Anna Grace pretends to nurse him while I nurse Adalyn.

When we aren't nursing, we have been enjoying the beautiful weather. We move Adalyn's swing outside while Anna Grace and I work on our garden, play on the swing set and cruise around in her car.

Easter

Hippy Hoppety Easter came the other day!

We started the morning following the egg trail that the Easter Bunny left around our house. Since Anna Grace was up before the sun, we don't have any early morning pictures but I wish you all could have seen the pure joy/excitement/astonishment on her face! It was priceless! After finding all of the eggs, seeing the wonderful treats and emptying her basket we headed to church to celebrate the day.

Next, we went to Sugie and Granddad's for a wonderful shrimp boil that Uncle Paul made. After lunch and a quick nap we visited CeCe and Pops for some of Pops' famous meatballs. It was a wonderful day filled with lots of family, great food and joy!

At the park on Saturday doing a practice round.

On the Cob

How do you know it's getting close to summer? Corn on the cob!  Anna Grace has been thoroughly enjoying the lovely weather we have had the last few weeks and now the great fruits and veggies that are coming into season. Corn is one of her favorites, and while I am a little less of a worrier, Anna Grace's Daddy wasn't a fan of her using the standard cob holders and my little neat nick was not a fan of getting her hands dirty. In comes the greatest kitchen utensil yet...

Tovolo's Twist Lock Corn holders!

I happened to stumble upon these little babies at TJMaxx, but now that I know how wonderful they are I would have paid full price! Anna Grace gets to keep her little hands clean and Daddy doesn't have to stress about the sharp pokers being yanked out and used as weapons.

Yes, she ate the whole ear by herself. Enjoy!

First of Many...

They Match!

If it were up to me, my whole family would match every day of the week.  Lucky for Aaron, our clothing budget isn't quite big enough for everyday but there will be as many as I can! (At least for the girls.)
