Big News for the Gauntt's!

When Aaron and I got married, then pregnant a few weeks later, Aaron took on a job that would provide for us instead of following his passions.  After Anna Grace was born, I had fully intended to return to work full time. Being a Financial Analyst, and future entrepreneur, I couldn't imagine wanting to give that up.  I had no idea that God would change my heart. He put such a strong desire for me to be home with my girls. Aaron, being so supportive, took on a second job and continued to put his dreams on hold so that I could have my new dream: Being a stay-at-home mom to our now three beautiful girls.

Fast forward to April 2013.

I had heard a bit about a company called Rodan + Fields and had two dear friends who were having a lot of success. Even with that, I thought "Great for them, not for me." Again, God gently changed my heart. He opened me up to this opportunity and I am so thankful! Having no sales experience, never trying the product and being 100% an introvert, Aaron and I knew Rodan + Fields would be a household name. We could either wait for someone else to tell people, or we could. We decided we wanted it to be us.

When I first launched my business I set small goals. I wanted to cover the cost of preschool and make enough to eventually get wood floors in our home.  After my second paycheck, I knew this was something bigger than preschool money and I wanted to share it with everyone I knew. In just a year and a half, I have gotten gorogeous wood floors, but more important, I have replaced my full-time salary and doing this all while remaining at home with my girls. I have loved working on my own schedule, in my yoga pants, and sharing this opportunity with anyone it might bless. I may not have been passionate about skincare, but I am oh so passionate about helping women achieve their own financial goals, whether that is staying at home, paying off debt, replacing income or retiring your husband. I have loved watching the success of my growing team of over 100+ ladies and seeing it change their lives.

And now for the BIG NEWS... because of the financial success of running my own business, Aaron is now actively pursuing his passion. He has been undergoing a rigorous process, and is going to become a Dallas FIREFIGHTER! I never dreamed that we would both be able to have our dream jobs, but thanks to God and Rodan + Fields we both now have that opportunity. I am so excited for what's ahead in 2015 and we would much appreciate your prayers as we embark on this new adventure!

Aaron, thank you for your support, encouragement, and endless smiles on this journey.  I am so proud of you for following your dreams and making them a reality.

And finally, last but definitely not least, THANK YOU to my incredible team of now more than 120 people across the country. You are some of the most hardworking, smart, and determined people that I know, and I learn from and am inspired by you daily. I look forward to many more years of celebrating with you and watching lives be changed ahead!!

Watching the Planes

After dropping Granddad off at the airport, we trekked around to find The Founders Plaza and Viewing Area. I've been coming to this airport for as long as I can remember and we had never been to this. There is a great view of the planes and there is a sound system that broadcasts Air Traffic Control. Anna Grace enjoyed it, but Adalyn LOVED IT!

Where's Adalyn?

Don't let that sad face fool you... she climbed in there all by herself.

Memorial Day 2012

We had a great weekend with friends and family. "Big" Annie was in town and won AG's heart over again. She is still asking for her to come play. The "Big" is how AG differentiates between my friend Annie and her little friend Annie. Adalyn was a fan of Shelbi's puppies and the new Watten addition, Ranger.

Anna Grace had a blast swimming with Daddy, Miss Shelbi and Annie.

Easter 2012

Well I found the missing memory card and here are the rest of our Easter pictures. We had a great morning hunting eggs in the backyard and then headed off to church with Sugie, Granddad, and the crew. After nap, off to CeCe and Pops' we went for more goodies.

Hunting eggs... Adalyn was not at all interested.

Trying to get two girls to smile at the same time is next to impossible.

Where's Adalyn?

Sorry about the terrible picture quality. These moments pass to quickly to worry about technique!
