Pick Me! Pick Me!

Ok, Ok. I know that's kind of an obnoxious title, but I am competing for Boot Camper of the Year with Get You In Shape Boot Camp and would love if you could vote for me!

Crawling?

I recorded this several weeks ago thinking that Adalyn might figure out actual crawling but it looks like she may walk first so I wanted to get this up. Over the past few weeks she has improved on speed, but technique is still the same. Have you ever seen a cuter scootch/creep/bear crawl?

6 Months

Adalyn Marie, you have been here for six whole months! You are a precious blessing to our family and we couldn't imagine it without you.

We had a rough start, but you were so strong and brave!

Anna Grace was so excited to meet her baby sister.

You bless us each day with more smiles than we could have ever hoped for.

You started off as en excellent sleeper, but you have a beautiful new tooth (and one on the way) that has put a damper on your sleep schedule.

You are so sweet and happy and easy and joyful and never give your momma a hard time...

Well, unless we have to take something away from you that you shouldn't be playing with. Then, I see a bit of your momma come out and you let us know what you think about that.

You are scootching and creeping everywhere. It isn't officially crawling, but you can get across the room at a pretty good pace. Videos to come.  We just moved you to your crib and you love looking at your chandelier!

You love your big sister and she loves you.  Anna Grace loves to make you laugh, makes sure you have an abundance to cold teethers, and always a soft blanket.  Your Daddy and I pray you two will be best of friends.

We love you more than words can express and I can't wait for all of the smiles and milestones to come!

Pumpkins

Before Anna left for Nashville, we headed to the Arboretum to check out Cinderella's pumpkin patch!

Remember this face AG is making... it's going to make a lovely reappearance on her preschool photos.

Anna Grace was pretty excited about Cinderella.

And even more excited about the Fairy Godmother's little house!

Sisters. They are going to have so much fun together.

Anna started her own blog!!!

I have been hoping for ages that she would start her own blog to show off all of her crafty stuff and while this blog is technically to keep us in the loop on her semester in Tennessee, I am holding out for an occasional crafty treat!

Quarter Century!

Last week was Anna's 25th Birthday! We had a wonderful day, beginning with a surprise visit from Spencer who showed up at church!

Anna with her favorite gift, a beautiful new watch!

The cake. (I forgot the candles, sorry Smalls.)

The Girls

The Grandparent's

Then we headed to the bowling alley for some family fun.  Let me tell you, we are a fierce group of bowlers.

Uncle Paul came to join in on the action.

Check out Granddad's form.

Birthday Girl

Super dad bowled for a good 45 minutes with that sleeping beauty on his shoulder.

The End.

Happy Birthday Anna! I love you more than the stars!

Today was...

The...

Yea for Anna Grace! She did so well today and I am so proud. She wasn't in the mood to take pictures before we left and I was short on time so we did an after school shoot. She may look very happy to be holding my silly sign. Don't let that cute smile fool you. I had a stash of treats in my pocket she was being bribed with. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

She is in the same classroom as last year which helped a lot with transitioning back into school. She wasn't super excited for me to leave, but wasn't nearly as upset as last year. She did not eat her lunch, but she took a nap so we were 1 for 3. Hopefully in next week or two we will be 3 for 3!

All of these smiles/silly faces were originals and not coerced :)
