The Perfect Bump- 22 weeks

It only lasts a short time, but right now the bump is perfect! We are past the "hey have you been eating at Fat Daddy's alot?" stage and aren't quite to the "Oh no, please don't let her get on THIS elevator!" stage. People are actually comfortable asking if I'm pregnant but aren't fearful that they may have to catch the baby if my belly busts.

We have lots coming up this weekend with Halloween approaching. Anna Grace can't wait for everyone to see her costume! She wants to keep it a surprise, but I'll give you a hint: It's got spots.

Picture Project

Here are some family pictures that our good friend Sue Shibley took for her photography class. It's been a while since I've had to help or do homework, but it was really fun! Thank you Sue, they are beautiful!

20+ Weeks

We are more than halfway there! Here is Anna Grace and I posing. She snuck in behind me :)

This little article popped up on my BabyCenter reading for last week. I thought it was too funny not to share. Enjoy!

Belly Laughs: Count your Blessings!

The penis of a rhinoceros is 2 feet long.
The penis of a mosquito is a hundredth of an inch long.
The praying mantis bites her mates head off while he impregnates her.
Elephants are pregnant for two years.
Many animals give birth to a dozen or more babies at a time.
Your baby won't be born with hooves.

Thank goodness we are human!

Nash Farms

This Saturday Sugie, Anna Grace and I went to the fall fair at Nash Farm. It was a little warmer than we expected but we still enjoyed ourselves. There was a petting zoo, games and a real pumpkin patch! Here we were doing pony races. I think the kids were supposed to do this themselves, but Anna Grace prefered to have Mommy be the galloping horse. It was a sight.

Look at those blue eyes!

This little sheep was trying to sneak Anna Grace's cracker.
A tiny baby cow! MOOO!

18 Weeks

I've officially busted out my maternity jeans. While I could suffer through regular ones with a bella band for another month or two, once you go elastic, there is no going back.

And since there have been some claims that I exaggerate when I say " I swelled up like a whale" with Anna Grace, I decided to post some proof. That is my foot next to Anna's. Usually they look like two feet from the same person.

If you get a chance, say some prayers that this doesn't happen again. I have already started swelling a bit this past week when I get to warm or sit with my legs dangling for to long. To end the post... here is Anna Grace happy to head to preschool!
